ClickTravel is our travel management portal to book hotels, trains and flights. You can search thousands of travel providers to find the best choice.

How to access ClickTravel

  • New users:  You can request access to ClickTravel by emailing clicktravel@barnardos.org.uk with your staff number. You should be able to see your staff number on the ‘Employee Self Service’ section of Dynamics 365. If you can’t see it, please ask your line manager 

  • Signing in: Once you log in to your account, you will go through to the ClickTravel dashboard.  

How to use ClickTravel

Bookings

You can view and search any bookings by selecting ‘Bookings’ bar from the navigation menu. In the window, you can see your current, recent and future travel and booking list tabs.  

  • To book a hotel: click on the ‘Book a hotel’ icon on the dashboard to get to the hotel search page. Search hotel by inputting desired location, check in and out and number of passengers. ClickTravel will search and return relevant results and view their details. You can ‘filter by’ ratings, price, distance and facilities or ‘sort by’ for relevance, name, price or map view. You can check out a hotel by clicking the ‘Add to basket’ button after viewing rates. 

  • To book a train: Click on the ‘Book a train ticket’ icon or the ‘Trains’ bar in the left-hand toolbar. Once you have typed the desired details, click ‘Search’ to return relevant results.  You can ‘filter by’ changes and operators or ‘sort by’ for departure time, arrival time or price. You can also view ‘earlier or later train’ times. Once you have selected the details for your outbound and return journeys, click ‘add to basket’ to check out your train tickets and pay.  

  • To book a flight: Click the ‘Book a flight’ icon or the ‘Flights’’ bar on the left-hand toolbar. Fill out all details to search. Once you have received relevant results from your flight search. You can ‘filter by’ changes, flight duration, departure/arrival time and airlines. You can ‘sort by’ price, duration, arrival or departure time. Once you have selected your outbound and return journeys, you can add extras such as additional baggage or priority boarding. Click ‘add to basket’ when happy with your choices.  

  • To book for someone else: If authorised, you can select ‘Who’s travelling’ at the checkout and search for the traveller’s name or add a traveller by selecting the large +.  

Checking out

  • Baskets: ClickTravel allows you to create baskets to group travel products together, so you can complete checkout in one go or share basket with a colleague. If you don’t have any baskets created, you can create on at checkout by selecting ‘Create a new basket.’ If you need your basket approved or want to book a colleague’s travel, you can do this by share basket feature. 

  • To pay: Before you fully check out and pay, you will need to complete the 'cost centre’, ‘account code’ and ‘reason for travel’ fields on the Checkout page. Then click ‘Checkout now’ Payment is taken from the Barnardo’s ‘Credit Account’ unless told otherwise. Please note, you need to confirm with your line manager before you make any purchases.  

  • Sign out: Click your ‘profile menu’ located in the bottom left and click ‘Sign out’.
