Our 2024 EDI Visual Calendar brings to life some of the dates we will acknowledge as a charity. You can download a copy of it at the bottom of this page.
The calendar helps raise awareness and visibility of dates and events that are important to our colleagues, communities and the children, young people and families that we work with. Look out for content across our internal and social media channels, and events hosted by our EDI team or EDI Networks, to mark a variety of dates throughout the year.
The dates included on this calendar are not exhaustive and are complemented by our EDI Outlook Calendar. Whilst not all dates and events can be marked centrally across the charity, we do encourage colleagues to mark those that are important to them locally.
EDI Outlook calendar
Our EDI Outlook Calendar lists a number of religious, cultural and EDI awareness dates, including many not listed on our Visual calendar, providing a more in-depth overview of dates that may be important to our colleagues.
You can add this to your list of Outlook calendars, and even overlay it on top of your own Outlook calendar. Instructions on how to do this are available at the bottom of this page.
We’ve provided this calendar so you can choose which dates you may want to celebrate locally within your team, department, service or shop.
