Training

All colleagues have access to the guidance materials below and are encouraged to complete the training to support the Performance and Growth Cycle. 

The training is available on b-learning and has been designed to be simple and short, offering bite-sized videos which you can use at your own pace, starting and stopping the module when you need. The training will be made available at different touchpoints throughout the year, which means you can access the training at a time that suits you, and it will remain fresh in your mind for the relevant part of the Cycle.  

  • April 2024 - Module 1: Goal setting, colleague conversations, feedback  

  • September 2024 - Module 2: Mid-year review 

  • January 2025 - Module 3: Alignment (line managers only) 

  • March 2025 - Module 4: Performance and Growth Review (PGR) and Outcome

This training is for all colleagues and line managers, with some modules including additional training for line managers only. If you completed training as part of the pilot last year, you may not feel the need to do it again, however, there have been a number of changes since the pilot training so it may be useful if you need a recap and update.

Colleagues in Retail and Trading will also be sent training and guidance for the offline version of the new Cycle – please keep an eye on Retail Hub for updates. 

Training modules

Module 1: Goal setting

This module covers the first step in the Cycle - goal setting, which also includes colleague conversations, and feedback. It should only take 25-minutes to complete and is for all colleagues and line managers.

Access this module on b-learning.  

Please complete this training and set your goals on Dynamics 365 by 30 June (you'll be able to set goals on Dynamics 365 from 13 May).

REMINDER:

  • Colleagues need to choose three operational goals, one development goal, and one team goal
  • Line managers need: same as above, plus a line management goal
