Of course, I could still do my job without JAWS, but it is difficult to imagine how I could work for Barnardo’s without it. Well, I could, but I would almost have to have a fulltime support worker. I mean, there is Livelink and all the Barnardo’s requirements for recording, let alone letter and report writing. Most of the time, though, the whole world of Livelink is available for me without assistance.

I use it to read my work back out loud to me. I sometimes miss words out of sentences and no matter how many times I read it back to myself I simply would not pick up the mistake. Because this is not a spelling mistake, spell checker would not pick up the error either.
