Copying, moving or deleting in Content Server

Moving or copying

Important: When moving confidential documents, make sure the resulting permissions are correct by moving them via your personal workspace. For details, see this short video demonstration of Moving items using your Personal Workspace.

  1. Tick the boxes to the left of the item name(s).

  2. Click on either of the Move or Copy buttons, as appropriate (located both above and below the list of items).

  3. Click on the Browse Content Server button and navigate to the location where you want the items to go.

  4. Click the Select> link next to the appropriate location, then click on Move or Copy, as appropriate.

  5. Click on OK when the process completes.

Deleting
  1. Tick the tick boxes to the left of the item name(s).

  2. Click on one of the Delete buttons (located both above and below the list of items).

  3. Click on OK when the process completes.

WARNING: There is no 'undo' for deletions on Content Server. If you accidentally delete something that you need to recover, contact the Service Desk as soon as possible.
