If you work in children's services, whether as an employee or a volunteer, you may be interested includes trauma-informed practice and a range of nationally accredited qualifications which you can find in A4PU.
There is a suite of safeguarding courses Core1-3 delivered by Barnardo's in England and Wales, and by safeguarding managers in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Cores 1 and 2 are practitioner-based, core 3 is for managers.
There is mandatory learning for children's services employees in England and Wales:
- Child protection core 1 (England)
- Child protection core 1 (Cymru)
- Child protection core 2 (England)
- Child protection core 2 (Cymru)
- Child protection core 3
- Accreditation of prior learning
