Guidance on supporting disabled colleagues

The purpose of this document is to provide managers and colleagues with good practice information to support and be inclusive of disabled colleagues in the workplace.

• The aims of this guidance are to demonstrate Barnardo’s commitment to ensuring fair and equal treatment for disabled people and cultivating an inclusive environment for our disabled colleagues.   

• This guidance should be read in conjunction with the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) policy and the EDI Code of Conduct.
