Pay framework

Our pay framework is made up of six pay grades (A- F) across three different job families.

Payslips

You can view, download, and print your monthly payslips online via the EY Interact Payroll Portal.

Annual Pay Award

Each year, Barnardo’s negotiates an Annual Pay Award with our union, Unison, which is subject to final Board of Trustees approval and affordability.

Real Living Wage

The Real Living Wage is an externally set wage rate, and the only one based on the actual cost of living. It is optional for employers to pay the Real Living Wage and we are proud to be an employer that does.

Job evaluation

The goal of job evaluation is to compare jobs with each other in order to create a pay structure that is fair. Colleagues should speak to their line manager about the process and you can read more on Inside Barnardo's.
